Cocaine found in couch, over $50K in dryer hose at Volusia County apartment

VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. – Cocaine and over $50,000 of hidden cash was found in a DeLand apartment on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Volusia Sheriff’s Office.
In a release, deputies said they searched the home at 700 Integra Dunes Circle, uncovering around 60 grams of cocaine hidden in a “couch compartment.”

Deputies also reported discovering $52,388 hidden in a dryer vent hose.
As a result of the discovery, deputies arrested Freddie Bryant, 29, whom they said had dealt cocaine to an undercover detective last summer.
Now, Bryant faces charges of trafficking cocaine, possessing Oxycodone, renting a structure for drug sales, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is held on bond of $57,000.
